For all of the foodies, here are the things you must try while in Galway. Fish and chips with curry sauce, Seafood (September is one of the most popular times for oysters in Galway), a full Irish breakfast, cup of tea, baby Guinness.

Ard Bia - Seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Ruibin - Contemporary Irish overlooking the dock
Sophie's Rooftop - great aesthetic atmosphere
Pratai - if you need a quick snack this is it.. they just have chips!
Coffeewerk + Press - coffee + pastries
Magpie Bakery - coffee + pastries.. they sell out fast
Jungle Cafe - quirky cafe with brunch
Scón - sweet and savory scone sandwiches + coffee
There is no shortage of pubs in Galway. If you don't like one, just walk a few steps and you'll find another. Here are a few of our favorites:

If you have a full day then these are the sites that would be top of my list. If you do not have a car, then there will also be a bus that goes to any of these locations:
Visit the Aran Islands and rent a bike - you can take a ferry from Galway
Visit the Cliffs of Moher - 1.5 hour drive from Galway
Visit Kylmore Abbey - 1 hour drive from Galway
